Pearls, gold vermeil and gentle finishes
Our materials and making
We work mainly with Akoya and freshwater pearls, chosen for their soft lustre and natural variation. No two pearls are exactly the same, which means each piece carries its own quiet character.
Most of our gold pieces are made in 18K gold vermeil on a sterling silver base. This gives a richer colour and a more durable finish than standard gold plating, while keeping pieces lighter and more accessible than solid gold.
Settings are designed to be smooth where they touch the skin. Posts and hooks are refined to reduce weight, and closures are tested to feel secure without being difficult to fasten.

Every order arrives in a Rabbit Forest Jewellery box, ready to keep or give. You can add a short note at checkout and we will print it on a small card in a clear, calm layout.
