Every Rabbit Forest piece begins as a single, deliberate line in our London studio. From sketch to wax, from CAD to living prototype, we test each stage in real life — worn at dawn commutes, through long meetings, on evening walks, and across distant travels. We feel how light catches the pearl, how weight settles on the collarbone, how the piece moves with you rather than against you. Only when it becomes instinctive do we release it. This is not speed. This is reverence.
We work with a small, private circle of master workshops in Europe and Asia — artisans who have spent lifetimes perfecting stone-setting, casting, and the final whisper of polish. These are not factories. They are extensions of our studio. We visit, we speak directly, we share the same exacting standards. You will never wonder who touched your jewellery. Their hands have already been guided by ours.
We work mainly with Akoya and freshwater pearls, chosen for their soft lustre and natural variation. Each piece carries its own quiet character. Most of our gold pieces are made in 18K gold vermeil on a sterling silver base. This gives a richer colour and a more durable finish, while keeping pieces lighter and more accessible than solid gold.
We create in small, intentional runs — never large speculative batches. This gives us the time to examine every piece under light and under touch, to refine based on real wear, and to protect the purity of the design. A design may sell out. We accept that temporary silence rather than dilute the standard. For you, it means flawless finishing, zero hidden flaws, and the rare assurance that your piece was born from care, not haste.
