We Are Still Here Ten Years On
The most honest thing we can say about our service is that it does not end at delivery. A piece of jewellery is worn — against skin, in weather, through years. It deserves the same attention at year eight as it received at the moment it was chosen.
Every Rabbit Forest piece carries our lifetime aftercare promise. There is no registration required, no time limit, no fee for the first restring or replate when the time comes. We ask only that you send the piece to us, with a note of what it needs, and we will return it.
What Aftercare Covers
Replating of 18-carat gold vermeil pieces when the gold shows wear at the contact points — clasp edges, post backs, the underside of a pendant bail. We replate to the original specification: 18-carat gold, the same micron depth.
Restringing of hand-knotted silk strands when the thread loosens or the knots shift. For a strand worn regularly, this is typically every three to five years. We restring to the original length, re-knot between every pearl, and return the piece in its original box.
Cleaning and inspection for any piece that needs it. We check every clasp, every setting, every post, and note anything that may need attention before it becomes a problem.
Our Service
We reply to every message within twenty-four hours, Monday to Friday. Not a template. A reply from a person, with their name.
If something is wrong with a piece, we say so and tell you what we are doing about it in the same message. If we made a mistake, we correct it. We do not ask you to return a piece before we send a replacement.
If you are uncertain whether to buy, we would rather advise you honestly than sell you something that is not right. We have told people not to buy before. We will again.
Delivery And Returns
Free UK delivery on every order. Free international delivery on orders over £100. Every piece is wrapped in soft cloth and presented in the signature velvet red gift box — no additional gift wrapping required.
Returns are accepted within 14 days of receipt, unworn and in original packaging. Contact us before returning.
