1. Order Processing Time

All orders are hand-crafted or hand-finished in our London studio.

  • Standard orders: We aim to dispatch within 1–3 working days (Monday–Friday, excluding UK bank holidays).
  • Bespoke or personalised pieces: Lead times are provided on a per-product, per-quotation basis and vary according to the complexity of each unique design. You will receive a clear confirmation of the exact lead time at checkout or via email quotation before your order is confirmed. Significant delays (e.g., peak season or custom commissions) will be notified immediately by email.

You will receive an immediate order confirmation and a separate dispatch email with tracking once your jewellery leaves the studio.

 

2. Shipping Methods & Costs 

We use Royal Mail services exclusively for reliable, fully tracked delivery worldwide. All shipments include end-to-end tracking and arrive in signature Rabbit Forest packaging – elegant, secure, and gift-ready.United Kingdom

  • Standard Delivery: FREE on all UK orders via Royal Mail Tracked 48 (typically 2–4 working days).
  • Express Next-Day Delivery: Upgrade available for £6 (aims to deliver the next working day via Royal Mail Tracked 24 or equivalent).

International Shipping

  • We ship worldwide using Royal Mail International Tracked.
  • FREE International Shipping on all orders of £79 or more.
  • For orders under £79, the flat rates below apply (calculated automatically at checkout).

3. International Orders & CustomsRabbit Forest Jewellery is based in the United Kingdom. For all orders outside the UK:

  • You are fully responsible for any import duties, taxes, VAT/GST, or customs clearance fees imposed by your country.
  • These charges are not included in the product price or shipping cost and must be paid directly to your local authorities.
  • We are not liable for any delays caused by customs.

We provide a clear commercial invoice with accurate HS codes to assist smooth clearance.

 

4. Tracking & Delivery Updates

  • Every order receives a unique tracking number.
  • You will receive a shipping confirmation email with the tracking link as soon as your parcel is dispatched.
  • Track your order directly via Royal Mail’s website.


5. Delivery Guarantees & Issues

  • Please ensure your shipping address is complete and correct – we are not responsible for delays or missed deliveries caused by incorrect addresses.
  • If a delivery is attempted but you are unavailable, Royal Mail will leave a card or hold the parcel at a local collection point.
  • Working days exclude weekends and UK bank holidays.

6. Changes, Cancellations & Address Corrections

  • You may update your shipping address before dispatch by contacting us immediately.
  • Once dispatched, address corrections may incur a re-routing fee charged by Royal Mail.
  • Orders cannot be cancelled after dispatch.

7. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control (strikes, extreme weather, customs disruptions, etc.). We will keep you informed and work with you to resolve any issues promptly.

 

8. Country & Region Specific Addendums for New Markets

To support your international expansion, the following addendums apply in addition to the general terms above:European Union Addendum

  • All EU destinations fall under Europe Zones 1–3.
  • Post-Brexit VAT and customs rules apply; you remain responsible for any local charges.
  • We provide full commercial invoices to facilitate fast clearance.

USA & Canada Addendum

  • USA: World Zone 1
  • Canada: World Zone 3 
  • Additional US state sales tax or Canadian GST/HST may apply at import and is your responsibility. Delivery times typically 5–7 working days; we recommend providing a phone number for customs contact.

Australia & New Zealand Addendum

  • Both countries: World Zone 2 
  • Australian GST and New Zealand GST may be collected at checkout or on delivery. We use discreet packaging to minimise customs attention.

Asia-Pacific & Middle East Addendum (Key growth markets)

  • Major destinations (Singapore, Japan, UAE, Hong Kong, India, China, Thailand, etc.) fall under World Zones 2 or 3.
  • Import duties and local taxes vary significantly; you are responsible for payment.
  • For high-volume B2B or wholesale enquiries in these regions, please contact us for tailored shipping solutions and potential carrier upgrades.
